How do people actually make decisions? How do they know that a decision is ethical, if there is no moral philosophy which would satisfy all people to the same extent? Why do people make unethical decisions despite knowing they are unethical? Every day, we face these and similar issues, both in privately and in business surroundings. Even when people make ethically right decisions, those decisions may sometimes seem difficult to be realized because of various types of pressures coming from those who surround us. Moral reasoning focuses on what is right – however, not necessarily on doing what is right. In various circumstances, individuals behave unpredictably and differently, and in the end they often justify their behaviour with the consequences that provide them personal feeling of fulfilment and value.
